6 states sue maker of OxyContin as they battle expenses, human costs of opioid crisis

The lawsuits — filed in state courts in Florida, Nevada,North Carolina, North Dakota, Tennessee and Texas — accuse Purdue Pharma of aggressively selling its drugs it spite of knowing the products were potentially dangerous.
